Fabulous chef @Maisonflos will be catering on Friday 3rd evening for the private view, if you would like to attend please see the events page for RSVP details.

On Saturday 4th morning, there will also be fresh cake and coffee/tea - bring your family for the public opening of the show (no booking required).

This is an exhibition held in the Gosforth Studio of artist Charlotte Johnston, celebrating 10 years of drawing and painting directly from greenhouses and gardens. Children and well behaved dogs welcome.

Art Classes Spring 2026

Starting in Spring '26, there will be a variety of art classes held during weekdays and on Saturdays - for all abilities in the Gosforth studio.

Materials will be provided and a booking page will be available soon.

Artwork Conservation in-situ

There's no better feeling than returning a work of art back to a client; this 19th Century painting of a Brittany market scene by Eugene Deshayes required full treatment to regain the colour balances which the artist intended.

Our Lady & St Oswin's Church Tynemouth - Conservation Project Complete

This conservation project on site was a fantastic opportunity to work on three polychrome panel paintings which required careful cleaning and stabilising, and to restore genuine gold leaf gilding to the wooden scripture of the altar. A community presentation of the conservation project will take place in May 2025, dates will be published and all welcome.
