Charlotte is an artist and a trained Paintings Conservator, who is dedicated to supporting collectors, galleries, teachers and fellow artists in the best way to protect, stabilise and transport artworks.

 

Based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, she draws from parks and greenhouses and specialises in ink, pastel and oil paintings.

Specialising in the conservation of Easel Paintings, and with particular research interest in technical art history (the study of art materials) and the origins and documentation of Dammar resin.

A year of experimental drawing across the UK capital, with a final year show exhibiting at Christie's, London.

2012-2016

Fine Art Painting, BA Hons

Gray's School of Art,

Aberdeen

A traditional and specialist painting course; studying life-drawing, traditional art materials, mixing oil paint and benefitting from the brilliant company and class of 2016 painters and tutors.

The first greenhouse paintings were made in Aberdeen's Winter Garden as part of the degree show collection.
